Mainstream Marketing announces the development of www.urtur.com website.  This website will be the gathering place for all things URTUR.  The URTUR is the official name of the group of events that Mainstream Marketing is managing under its agreement with USSA, as announced in April.  Mainstream is excited that it will be able to bring many facets of the events together in one place. Mainstream Marketing reaches agreement to manage all International Ski Federation/USSA sanctioned events below the World Cup level with the exception of the US Freestyle Championships, which will continued to be managed by the USSA Events Department.

"I feel that this is an exciting opportunity to bring new life to these mid-level events that provide crucial opportunities to athletes as outputs in their sport development.  These events are the breeding ground for future US Freestyle Skiing Olympians - 'You Gotta Come Here To Get There'. - Konrad X Rotermund, Managing Director of Mainstream Marketing.

Mainstream will be managing the Freestyle Skiing disciplines of Moguls, Aerials, Ski Cross and Ski Halfpipe.  In addition, Mainstream will be looking to develop 2 to 3 high level USSA sanctioned Ski Slopestyle events.  In Halfpipe and Slopestyle, Mainstream Marketing will be working strongly with the USSA Freestyle Sport Committee to assure the sport's goals are met.

First 30 Days of the Year

In the first 30 days of 2009, I have found myself in Austria for Skicross, France for Skicross and Halfpipe, New York for Skicross and Aerials ~ and now in the home country of Deer Valley/Park City Mountain Resort getting ready for the top tour stop on the FREESTYLE FIS WORLD CUP.  The event will have Moguls, Aerials, Halfpipe and Dual Moguls.  The world’s best will be here including 12 of the Ladies and Men’s Finalist from Ski Halfpipe at the X Games.  Should be exciting!  Check out the schedule at www.deervalley.com > events > VISA INTERNATIONAL.
